Watch over-the-shoulder as I research and find a unique angle for Wuffes (a brand I’ve never worked with before in a niche I have no experience in).
In this video I analyze their current ads, landing pages, and product. Then use ChatGPT “Deep Research” to find a unique angle and then write a static Facebook ad.
I also talk about why it’s LESS important that you write “good copy” and MORE important that you’re able to find some new angle or “hole” in their current marketing to exploit.
Because when it comes to getting “in” with these companies — they respect your ability to “think” like a marketer and find unique angles more so than the quality of your copy.
Your copy quality is something that can be improved and worked on over time, but your ability to THINK is something far less malleable.
In our next (and final) installment of this series before we move onto other much requested topics — I’ll provide you the full “copy package” I’d send to Wuffs as an example.
That includes the ad I just wrote in this video and then — using the angle we came up with — a script ad, landing page example, and email example along with my explanation for our “mock client” of what why / how I came up with that idea and what else I bring to the table.

I want you to do deep research on what people are saying about this product and compile the common things people love the most about it and also compile the common things people dislike the most so that I can address and overcome objections when writing ad copy for this brand.
Next, I want you to scour forums like Reddit to find the biggest, most pervasive emotional pain points dog owners have with seeing their dogs struggling with mobility and joint aches.
Then I want you to do research on the most common reasons that dogs start developing joint aches and what can happen if you wait too long to address those joint aches by for example thinking it's just 'normal' that the dog is aging and being a little stiff.
Try to create an internal narration of what the dog would be telling their owner if they could speak English about what's going on with how they feel so that in the ads we can really drive home what kind of pain the dog is in so that the human can understand.
Next, do deep research on the ingredients inside this product and provide citations showing the studies and what institutions worked on the studies as to why these ingredients can help your dog.
Also, find little-known reasons dog have mobility issues or joint pain that most owners don't know about and little-known reasons a supplement like this is so powerful.
Assume the audience has little to know problem/solution awareness and is TOF (top of funnel) and has no awareness of this brand. Assume the audience feels bad for their dog and sees it struggling and is worried, but hasn't even considered supplements or how big of an issue their dog's mobility really is for the health of their pet as of yet.
Also find me lots of interesting uncommon facts if you come across any too like: New research shows that dogs who struggle to get up could end up dying sooner or are more likely to become immobilized within X years -- the earlier you catch it the better.
